Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (headquartered in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture; Kenichi Urushibata, President; hereinafter referred to as "SWS") has formulated the long-term vision "Sumitomo Wiring Systems Group 2030VISION (30V)" ending in fiscal 2030 and the "Medium-term Management Plan 2025 (25M)" as a three-year action plan from fiscal 2023 to 2025, We are pleased to announce the following.

1.Basic Policy
Our Group's basic philosophy is to uphold the Sumitomo Spirit and the Group Corporate Principles that have been handed down from generation to generation, and to always focus on the public interest and work for mutual prosperity with stakeholders based on the management philosophy of "Contributing to the Public Good through Business".

Based on this basic philosophy, our group has added the group's Purpose to its management philosophy, which is the basis of its mid-term management plan, and formulated it anew in order to reaffirm the group's strengths and potential and lay the foundation for further challenges in the future without compromising on the pillars of philosophy and technology that our group has developed over the years.

Under this management philosophy, SWS Group will seize the global business opportunities presented by the period of great change in the mobility market, promote growth strategies and strengthen its management base by leveraging the collective strengths of our group, and contribute to the realization of a comfortable and safe society by supporting the development of the entire mobility society as a partner.

2.Business Strategy
In order to meet the expectations and demands of (1) transformation of mobility, (2) society, and (3) customers, we will continue to take on the challenge of transforming possibilities into reality by pursuing manufacturing and human resource development and taking on the challenge of "creating possibilities beyond expectations." We will continue to take on the challenge of transforming possibilities into reality. Specifically, we will deepen our existing business (conventional wire harnesses) and new business (development of unique products and technologies that contribute to electrification and high-speed communications that support next-generation mobility) by further integrating the Three-in-One-Collaboration and developing and utilizing a diverse workforce of 250,000 people globally.
