Notice of establishment of "Connect Kids" in-house nursery center

Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (SWS) (Head office: Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, President: Osamu Inoue) has established the "Connect Kids" in-house nursery center and will commence its operation from April 2017.
As "Diversity and Inclusion" is an important business challenge, we at SWS are considering a variety of options to address this challenge. This includes embracing diverse ways of thinking and working, to make our organization more flexible to changes.
As part of these activities and also as a business commemorating the 100th anniversary of our foundation, we decided to open an "in-house nursery center" to assist employees involved in raising children to play an active role at work. We provide an environment that helps support employees and alleviate restrictions, such as limited working hours due to child-raising commitments, so that they can demonstrate their abilities to their fullest.
