Notice of completion of construction of

October 3, 2016 Sumitomo Wiring Systems,Ltd

Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (SWS) (Head office: Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, President: Osamu Inoue) has constructed an experiment building with a radio wave darkroom and chassis dynamo experiment equipment, the first among harness manufacturers in Japan.
As electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, etc. have increased in recent years, noise sources (high-power devices) have also increased accordingly. On the other hand, precision communication and electronic devices vulnerable to noise have increased due to the growth of information networks inside and outside the vehicle. We believe that this trend will not change, and have installed experimental chassis dynamo equipment and a radio wave darkroom where we can measure the effects of noise sources on communication and electronic devices, reproducing the conditions of a vehicle in an actual running state. This enables the SWS Group to evaluate the entire vehicle in an actual running state during the early stages of product development. We intend to generate orders by suggesting the best possible products for customers during the development of the power supply, signal network, and related components.
The SWS Group will continue to globally promote product development in response to our customers' trust, toward the achievement of the medium-term management plan "Vision 2017".
