Sumitomo Wiring Systems has prepared the "SWS CSR Report 2009" where the business activities of the SWS Group in fiscal 2008 are summarized from the viewpoint of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This report has now been released on the "Environmental Efforts" page on the SWS website.

Although SWS has issued Environmental Reports every year since 2001, we began issuing CSR Reports last fiscal year to introduce a broad range of activities to our stakeholders.
The "SWS CSR Report 2009", the second edition of these reports, contains the feature "Fostering STARS with Skills", which is a refreshing report on the SWS Group's manufacturing concept as symbolized by the Skill Olympics based on interviews with the secretariat and the champion.

We have also promoted improvement in the reliability of the Report by presenting the reviewing results by the third-party organizations in the Report to authenticate the information disclosed.
