Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd., headquartered in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, with Fumikiyo Uchioke as President, totally updated the contents of our Environmental Reports to issue them as a CSR Report in 2008.

Every year since 2001, we have prepared the Environmental Reports and made them public to help you understand our group's environmental efforts, and we have used your opinions to enhance our environmental activities. During this period, the business environment surrounding our group has greatly changed, resulting in a significant increase in requests from our stakeholders and our responsibility to our stakeholders.

To issue the CSR Report, we have reviewed all of the contents of the Environmental Reports. We hope our group's different stakeholders know not only our environmental activities but also our policies, philosophies, and specific activities that serve as the basis of our group's business operations.

The CSR Report shows, in addition to the information always contained in the Environmental Reports, our basic way of thinking and concrete activities for our group's compliance systems, risk management efforts, quality control systems, safety and hygiene activities, and human resources development.

Our group is committed to becoming a corporate complex widely trusted by the public, using the CSR Report as a communication tool with our stakeholders, and expanding our CSR activities.
