The SWS Group is developing businesses globally, with no less than 120 group companies in 31 nations, including Japan, to keep up with the development overseas of our customers and provide them with improved services. Currently, production overseas in group-wide automobile wiring harness production volume accounts for 90% of our total production. We predict that the production volume overseas will rise, thus one of our current priorities is to enhance production systems overseas.

In a situation such as this, group companies in China and Southeast Asia are assuming roles, not only as production bases for domestic customers, but also as production bases for products consigned from Japan and products for the North American market. There is a plan to transfer more of the production currently undertaken in Japan to overseas manufacturing plants, and it is also estimated that the volume of orders for domestic markets in each nation and for North America will increase. Considering these circumstances, we have decided to establish a new company in Vietnam to enhance production capabilities in Southeast Asia.

With the establishment of this new company, there will be three of the SWS Group's automobile wiring harness manufacturing companies in Vietnam.
