Notice of Revision of Business Performance Forecast


We hereby wish to announce that Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. has revised its consolidated and unconsolidated business results forecast for fiscal 2007 (from April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007) that we had announced as our midterm account settlement on November 6, 2006, as follows:

2. Reason for the revision:
Sales of wiring harnesses for automobiles and wiring harness components have been steadily growing. In addition, copper price, which had shown a steep increase and still remains high, has been hovering at relatively lower level than expected at the moment of the midterm account settlement in November 2006. Under these circumstances, we have decided to revise up our consolidated and unconsolidated business results forecast of sales, ordinary profit, and net income.


These forecasts are based on the Company's assumption and plans judged to be rational at the present moment.
Actual performance may vary greatly from the forecasts due to various factors in the future.
