| 2. Reason for the revision: |
|
Although sales for wiring harnesses for automobiles and wiring harness components have steadily grown, it was hit by soaring costs of copper, which exceeded our expectation. Under these circumstances, we hereby wish to announce that Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. has revised its consolidated and unconsolidated business results forecast of sales, ordinary profit, and interim net income. |

| 3.Forecast for entire fiscal 2007: |
|
We are now compiling the business results forecast for entire fiscal 2007, and will announce it till announcement of mid-term financial statements on November 2006. |
These forecasts are based on the Company's assumption and plans judged to be rational at the present moment.Actual performance may vary greatly from the forecasts due to various factors in the future. |
