Greetings from the President

Today will mark the 100th anniversary of our founding. Our success throughout the years could not have been possible without the support of all our stakeholders, especially our customers, to whom we are deeply grateful.

In December, 1917, we launched as "Tokai Electric Wire Works" to start manufacturing cotton shielded wires (also called "Tokyo electric wires") which gradually gained in popularity along with indoor lights. We have endured difficult times due to wars and recessions, yet we were able to succeed in the field of wiring harnesses, continuing to proceed in parallel with the history of development of the automobile industry. As we strive to expand our business onto the global stage, we are now an international, premier-class partner for automobiles, with 103 branches in 33 countries supported by 260,000 employees.

We aim to be the "world’s most rewarding and vibrant company to work for", by achieving a sustainable growth while succeeding in the face of global competition. The entire group will work together with the common objective of becoming a corporate group that is trusted, liked and valued by all our stakeholders.
