As joint efforts with suppliers are essential to promote CSR in procurement activities, we issued the Supplier CSR Guideline, which consists of three subjects: sharing of management approach, requests regarding the provision of products and services, and requests regarding the process of creating products and services. SWS’s expectations and requests to suppliers are clarified in this Guideline. We have also prepared the Guideline in English and Chinese, considering cases where suppliers submit the Guideline to their overseas affiliated companies.

CSR Guidelines for Suppliers

In the Global Suppliers Meeting held for communication with suppliers, we asked suppliers to approve the Guideline and implement this in-house, and sent the Guideline to 126 suppliers that attended the Meeting. We also sent the English and/or Chinese Guideline to suppliers having overseas bases.
